(三)要进行知识的梳理和填补
所谓知识的梳理和填补,主要是指复习词汇、重点语法和巩固提高运用英语的能力。特别要复习那些高中阶段要求进一步掌握的内容。这个过程对功底好的学生来说,则又是一次学习、提高和弥补缺陷的机会。做好这项工作,就能使所有的学生在相对的同一水平线上进入下一阶段的学习。
1.词汇复习
1)复习单词。一些常见的词,包括一些不规则动词的过去式和过去分词,都要默写。
2)复习单词时要注意词性和词形的转换,如:die―dead―dying,care―careful―carefully,danger―dangerous
等等。
3)对同义词、反义词进行归纳。
4)复习词组时,要注意中心词与其它词的习惯搭配。 以 take 为例: take…to,take care of,take photos,take one's turn,take part in,take one's temperature,take a bus,take a look at,take medicine,it takes sb. some time /money to do sth. 等。
5)对一些常见词进行归纳、比较。如:say,speak,talk,tell;bring, carry,take,fetch;wear,put on,(be) in,have on 等。
2. 重新梳理语法规则
对初中阶段出现的主要语法现象要重新进行归纳、总结和比较。初中的语法重点是时态,对时态的复习可用下列步骤:
第一步:熟记规则动词及不规则动词的变化形式。例如:
teach― teaches―teaching―taught―taught
第二步: 学习与熟记主动语态、被动语态的各种时态变化。例如:
They build houses. Houses are built.
They built houses. Houses were built.
They will build houses. Houses will be built.
They are building houses. Houses are being built.
They have built houses. Houses have been built.
第三步: 总结归纳常与各种时态连用的时间状语。如: … ago,
next… ,since…,in… ,before… 等。
第四步:总结归纳动词时态在时间状语从句、条件状语从句以及宾语从句中的变化规则。例如:
He will call me as soon as he comes back tomorrow.
She can stay home if she doesn't feel well.
I think they have been there twice.
He told me he had been there twice.
这种适时的填补和梳理,有助于英语知识水平和英语语言能力的提高,也更能为高中新课的学习铺平道路。
