"Weren't you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked.
Michael continued, "...the paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the ER and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes,I read "he's a dead man. " I knew I needed to take action.
"What did you do?" I asked.
"Well, there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me,"said Michael. "She asked if I was allergic to anything.
"Yes, I replied." The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled, "Gravity."
Over their laughter, I told them, "I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead."
“你那时不怕吗？你没有昏过去？”我问道。
麦可继续着自己的话题：“救护车上的急救人员真不错，他们一直告诉我我会好的。但当他们把我推进急救室的时候，看见医生和护士脸上的表情我害怕了。从他们的眼神里我读出 ‘他是个死人。’ 我知道我需要投入行动。”
“你做什么了啦？”
“哦，有个大块头护士扯着嗓子问我问题”，麦可说，“她问我对什么有过敏。 ‘有’，我回答道，医生和护士都停住手上的工作听我的回答。我深深地吸了一口气，然后叫道：‘地心引力’。他们笑完后，我告诉他们：‘我选择活。给我动手术的时候把我当做活人而不是死人’。”
Michael lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully.
麦可活过来了，这得感谢他高明的医生，但也是因为他那奇异的生活态度所致。我从他那里学到每天我们都有如何使它过得充实的选择。
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." After all today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. You have two choices now:

2. Introduce it to the people you care about. You know the choice I made.
I would rather be disliked for who I am than liked for who I am not.
