要同时达到这两个目标，最好的办法就是勤翻词典。最好是买一本英汉双解的朗文高级词典或牛津高阶词典。一次投资，终身受益，性价比太高了！翻词典的时候，要看英文释义，要多看几个意思，注意词性。不翻词典，光看课本上的汉语注释是不够的。比如：strength和force,汉语意思都是：“力气”，可是英语含义不一样。try to do 和manage，意思都是“尽力做”，表达的含义也不一样。
经常翻翻词典，你会发现，不必用纸笔，不必反复诵读，很多单词竟然自然而然地留在了脑海中！这其实就是英语语感。
留意生活中的英语也能让你记到单词。transport，看似难记，可是当你到交通银行去的时候，抬头就能望见这个单词，是不是很快乐？
一般的商品现在都有英语说明书（Instructions），假如你一边使用着该商品，一边忽然发现说明书的翻译里有错误，是不是很有成就感？家里买了个新电子产品，尽管是英文操作说明，可是你能懂，岂不快哉？！
总之，学习英语要多读，多听，多说，多记。一天不学英语，要有“三月不知肉味”的感觉，英语学习自然是a piece of cake.
